Thin-Slicing Success

Thin-slicing success is looking at critically, segregating the elements, analyzing them objectively, and recording them for easy duplication. For leaders who want to manage themselves better and also coach others into success, this is a powerful belief and a place to start any conversation with. Anything can be accomplished if the task is broken down into small enough steps.
One of the many principles of Neuro Linguistic Programming, also validated by quantum science, is the fact that our minds and our bodies are part and parcel of one linked system. When our mind gets gripped in fear, our bodies freeze. When our bodies are not in good shape, our intellectual and emotional performances also suffer. Sometimes, taking the tiger by the tail can help swirl our lives around into a more positive direction. So, when our bodies are lethargic and stressed, then it is our mind that needs to take the initiative and redirect the one-linked-system that we are. Similarly, when our minds get grappled with fear and inactivity, then doing physically challenging things can rehabilitate our minds.
