What's the difference between a life of fear and a life of possibility? It's a pretty big difference. It's time to come alive, throw off the shackles, and move into a greater sense of connectedness and expansiveness. Just imagine … in a good way.

The 'Limited Vision' Problem
What's the difference between a life of fear and a life of possibility? It's a pretty big difference.

It's time to come alive, throw off the shackles, and move into a greater sense of connectedness and expansiveness. Just imagine … in a good way.

One of my favorite bits of wisdom comes from Ernest Holmes, when he reminds us to "Never limit your view of life by any past experience. The possibility of life is inherent within the capacity to imagine what life is..."

Holmes, like many others, realized just how powerful and vital imagination, intuition, and a connection with heart-and-soul is to our quality of life, and our capacity to fully align with and live our purpose.

When we imagine the worst, and allow fear or an over-focus on outside circumstances to cloud and shrink our vision, we unwittingly separate ourselves from the flow of life, from what has heart and meaning for us, and we cloud and shrink our experience as a result. There's so much more available, at any moment.

I've learned this the hard way, needing to shift from a wonderful but over-emphasized analytical capacity, which contributed to imbalance, fear-focus, and disconnection in my life, to a remembering of my intuitive and imaginal gifts, which restores a sense of magic, joy, meaning, and connection.

The power of our imagination is behind every example of creativity, genius, and true innovation, great and small. Our capacity to conceive of a thing, to envision it, precedes our capacity to awaken within ourselves and animate around us all that's needed to bring the vision to life.

Fully engaged in these gifts, we feel a new sense of life, joy, and wonder. Our dance with Life takes on a fresh, new momentum and purpose!

While imagination itself has gotten shrink-wrapped in our consumer culture, propelled by fear as it is (particularly in 'challenging times'), it's a natural capacity that can be reawakened, nurtured into new activity -- just like our capacity for intuition!

Do you know what the 'payoff' is for taking off the shrink-wrap of limited vision and low expectation, and of exercising our atrophied imagination and intuition?

When we set the intention, make the effort, and stay attuned, the potential payoff can be life-changing: an expanded sense of possibility, new 'solutions' to seemingly intractable 'problems', increased intuition and synchronicity, a greater sense of calm and spaciousness, renewed momentum and meaning, and more.

Ivy Sea shares a variety of approaches and practices for moving from limited vision to awakened imagination and intuition, a sense of connection, and a more authentic expansive vision and expression.
