Through various webstats applications we can monitor the source IP addresses and the targets of our viewers. This information is used to keep the most popular articles in the archives and to record statistics for the benefit of contributors and advertisers. The site statistics are presented on this page - http://www.refresher.com/ceotraffic.html and are updated on a regular basis.

We also review the most popular sources of links to The CEO Refresher for reference, and we may highlight, for the benefit of our contributors and advertisers, the organizations, portals and other business magazines that link to The CEO Refresher.

We have also compiled statistics from a previous newsletter subscriber base. All subscriber information was provided voluntarily. The former e-mail newsletter did conform to all anti-spam conventions, and any e-mail newsletter we will issue in the future will conform to all anti-spam conventions with full integrity and opt-out features.

We have recently added a members' area to the site and require a nominal subscription to view over 2,200 articles in the The CEO Refresher Archives and participate in a number of exclusive offers and benefits. The information required to subscribe is minimal and includes your name, e-mail address, password and country of residence. This information is collected and retained to allow members unrestricted access to all areas of the site.

The membership software does use "cookie" technology to provide simplified access to the secured areas of the site for members. Cookies can be disabled or controlled by setting a preference within your browser.

For payment of the subscription the membership software employed on The CEO Refresher site redirects the transaction to Paypal for secured processing, where you will have the option to pay by credit card or your Paypal account. The CEO Refresher has no access to the data collected by PayPal to complete the transaction. All personal information pertaining to the PayPal transactions is secured by PayPal. We will send members occasional e-mails to confirm sign-up, inform of new exclusive offers and benefits, and provide notice of the expiry of the subscription. A monthly newsletter for members may be developed in the future.

In respect of your privacy and choice, subscriptions are not automatically renewed.

WHAT WE DON'T DO

As noted above we do not have access to any personal financial information collected by PayPal to complete the subscription transaction.

We will not attempt to automatically renew your subscription to respect your privacy and choice. Members will receive notices of expiry and an invitation to renew.

We will not send unsolicited e-mails to you as a result of your viewing activities at The CEO Refresher or the refresher.com site other than to facilitate efficient communications with members.

We will not rent, share or otherwise disclose our membership base with any third party.

We will not release any personal information about any individual visitors to this site.

AFFILIATE MARKETING PROGRAMS

The CEO Refresher participates in affiliate marketing programs with Google, Amazon.com (refresherbooks) and All Posters. We are also evaluating an affiliate program with Brian Tracy. These sites will track referrals from The CEO Refresher and do employ "cookies" to efficiently monitor the effectiveness of their services.
